Summary of Rental Agreement Updates

We recently updated our Rental Agreement. Most of the updates are legal and process updates. They do not change how you use your storage space day to day.

Here is a quick summary of the lease updates and what changed:

  • Lease terms and notices: Clarified how lease updates apply after notice is provided and how notices may be sent, including email or other electronic methods.
  • Fees and account charges: Clarified certain fees and charges that may apply to an account.
  • Past-due accounts and stored property: Clarified language around past-due accounts, lien notices, termination, abandoned property, vehicle storage, towing, and removal where applicable.
  • Insurance and facility rules: Clarified tenant responsibility for stored property, insurance, prohibited items, property use, and conduct at the facility.
  • Electronic signatures and disputes: Added or updated language about electronic signatures and how disputes are handled.
